Rikligt illustrerad med planscher. Innehåller verkförteckning över målningar 1905-36 (1635 nummer), etsningar 1905-36 (161 nummer) samt teckningar 1903-35 (173 nummer). Joel Jalmari (Jali) Ruokokoski var en finländsk målare, främst känd som porträttmålare. Han vann sin berömmelse på många utställningar, även i Sverige exempelvis under Baltiska utställningen i Malmö 1914 och Göteborgsutställningen 1923. Han tillhörde den expressionistiska Novembergruppen.
