Written by Alfred N. Festberg, a German-born military historian who moved to Great Britain to escape the Nazi regime, and Barry John Videon, an Australian military historian and member of the Military Historical Society (UK), he is also a founding member of the Military Historical Society for Australia. With a letter sent from the desk of a Ross Campbell on 16th May 1974 to Major General Sir Rohan Delacombe, a senior British Army officer who, after retiring from the army, became the last British-born Governor of Victoria, Australia. In the original full cloth binding. Externally, very smart with a mark to the front board.
