First Edition. Octavo, illustrated printed wrappers, 200 pp., two additional leaves at end (unpaginated), 16 double-sided black-and-white plates. Spine ends and corners slightly bumped, small price-sticker mark on front cover without loss of text, light spotting on edges of text block, small crease in top right-hand corner of title page; otherwise a very good copy. First edition, No. 0236, English and German text. This comprehensive study covers a great deal of data on the Fokker F.27 Friendship, from its inception before World War Two to its acceptance as an airline aircraft in the late 1950s and beyond.
