Minor edgewear, mainly a bit of rubbing to the corners and spine ends, lightly age-toned spine, good hinges, sound text block, very clean pages free from names or other markings. . Limited Edition. Stockholm; Norstedts, 1961. Originalupplaga. 22x12 cm. 84, (3, 1 blank) s. Häftad med tryckt omslag. Ouppskuren. Lätt nötta ryggändar. Fint ex. backlunds fjärde bok och första diktsamling. Från 1966 kallar han sig enbart "Percival". Dedikation till litteraturvetaren Gunnar Qvarnström: "Gunnar Qvarnström! / Vänlig hälsning! / Percival B." Med ett bilagt brev till samme mottagare, daterat 28/8 1964, där Backlund tackar för "Dikten" (troligen Qvarnströms "Dikten och den nya vetenskapen. Det astronautiska motivet", 1961) och säger sig se fram emot hans undersökning av talsymbolik ("Poetry and Numbers. On the Structural Use of Symbolic Numbers", 1966). Backlund skickade enligt brevet de två böckerna "Kontinenter" och "Liv som träd" till Qvarnström.
