Front wrapper missing top corner, has some chipping down front edge, and is considerably creased. Back wrapper torn at top corner. Ink markings on head of first page from previous owner. 14 plates depicting 20 black and white images, and one colored plate. Includes 73 pages of honor rolls. good to very good This is a brief narrative of history of the 54th (Kootenay) battalion in World War I, written by "One of Them", later determined to be Major John Bailey Beswick. The battalion was in action as Vimy, Passchendaele, Canal du Nord, the Scarpe, and others.
