First Printing; Paperback. Condition: Near Fine. Illustrated by Balthazar Korab and Dirk Bakker (illustrator). First Edition. Color Photographs; 10 3/4 x 8 1/2 x1; 103 pages; Oblong shaped soft cover has green spine with yellow lettering. Light rubbing, scuffing to covers. Pages are clean and tight. Beautifully produced guide book. Ilustrated with color photographs. The estate sits on Lake St. Clair, on the eastern side of greater Detroit. 'The house became the new residence of the Edsel and Eleanor Ford family in 1928. Edsel Ford was the son of Henry Ford and an executive at Ford Motor Company. The estate's buildings were designed by architect Albert Kahn, its site plan and gardens by renowned landscape designer Jens Jensen. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2016.' The renowned 'Eyes on Design,' exhibition is held there every year. Also hosts many fantastic art exhibitions as well as allowing various charities to use it for fund raisers. Gorgeous grounds to walk through for a 'walk-a-thon,' as I've done more than once.
