Hard Cover. Condition: Very Good. H. W. McVicker (illustrator). First Edition. Original tan cloth with wonderful pictorial decorated cover in tan, red and black. 265 pages with publisher's ads at rear. Nineteen full-page illustrations by H. W. McVicker with numerous smaller vignettes. Frontispiece with tissue-guard. Inscription dated 1897 on the blank fep, some soiling to covers otherwise very good. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
