Hardcover. Condition: Fair. No stated edition. 60p, many phiotos and line ills. printed in red and black against yellow backgrounds. Rebound in buckram, stamped with initials J.A.R. Original embossed wrappers bound in (torn). Two small leather samples are missing (a third one is present), and the center spread is detached. Old staining to covers. Soil and rubbing throughout. Penciling to several plates, as shown in one photo. A flawed but very scarce trade catalogue, lavishly designed and printed. The front wrapper shows a stylish young lady driving a buggy. Of special interest for its promotional techniques--the catalogue is shown being delivered by airmail (eliminating the cost of salesmen)--and for its spirited defense of the horse, "Is the Horse Coming Back? Why, Man Alive! He Has Never Been Away!" On the other hand, the firm was already making automobile bodies for Chevrolet. Large (12 x 14 inches); shipping/handling will be extra. Please keep this in mind when ordering.
