The author analyzes medieval and early modern beliefs in the Devil's powers to uncover the origins of this long-held superstition. The book also considers the cultural and social significance of these ideas, exploring how they shaped demonological thought and permeated popular culture. In critiquing the very notion of demonic transportation, the author contests dangerous and irrational notions regarding the power of evil that continue to proliferate today. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.

Raro, soprattutto completo dell'antiporta. Cfr. Iccu; Melzi, I, 296, Simoni 963; Lattanzi 487. . . . . . . 0. .
