Questa rara e ricercata prima edizione in lingua italiana della Declaratio instituti, scopi, ac finis Liberorum Muratorum, delinea (seguendo uno schema di netta confutazione) la storia dell'Ordine, fini, tratti distintivi ed attività, diffusione europea, aspetti religiosi, ampia dissertazione sull'Anticristo. L'organismo che si definisce âlibera muratoriaâ (massoneria è un francesismo che sta per âmuratoriaâ) trova antiche origini nell'insieme dei âmuratoriâ che godevano di certe franchigie e che giravano per i vari paesi europei soprattutto per costruire chiese ed edifici pubblici.
