Light green cloth lettered and decorated in dark green and with oval color illustration of a bulldog tipped onto front cover. 137 pp. With four full color plates by Harrison Fisher and additional ornate decorations on each page of text by Margaret and Helen Maitland Armstrong. Early reprint, still carrying oly the 1904 Dodd, Mead imprint on copyright page. Near fine, occasion foxing, plate at p.56 foxed. A nice example of an early 20th book illustrated by two of the major illustrators of the period.
