After graduating from Erskine College in 1838, Lowry had his first pastorate in Lebanon, Alabama. He also preached at Camden and other points in Alabama. About 1865 he was called to the G. A. Presbyterian Church in Selma, Alabama. In 1875, he was called to the First Presbyterian Church in Louisville, Kentucky and continued until his death in 1877 ; marks on spine, else VG. Book.
