Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Fine. First edition. Fine in a lightly rubbed, else fine dustwrapper. Inscribed by the author in a very infirm hand. A collection of essays and articles published by a vanity press that were written for the newspaper of the Veterans Administration Hospital in Palo Alto, California. where the author was confined with MS, that started to develop in 1944 when he was in the Army. Before that he was an English teacher in New Jersey. *OCLC* locates only three copies.
