Hardcover. Condition: Poor. First American Edition. 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 300 pages; 1st American edition. Volume I only (of two) In original drab blue paper covered boards; spine perished and lacking. Front board detached and rear board holding by cords. Retains two blank original endpages at front and rear. Dampstaining to the last 1/3 of the text appears to be from two discrete damp events. A heavy tea colored toning across the lower front corner of the last 90 pages and a ligheter tea colored damp stain over the lower 1/2 of the page of the last 100 or so pages. Toning and foxing to the text block. Contents complete. Sold as is with all faults. Poor to Fair only.
