Original sixteenth-century blind-stamped alum-tawed pigskin binding over wooden boards, four raised bands, two fine original metal clasps, one missing small endpiece but the clasps still are in working condition. With an early bookplate of "AK" on front pastedown. Laid in is a greeting card "Mr. William Snelling Hadaway".
