Condition: Good. 1st Edition. 8vo, 2 engraved portraits, 66pp, 464pp, inc folding table , index, bound in contemporary full calf, front board detached, rear board nearly detached, spine rubbed and generally worn, boards are a little edge worn but in good sound condition, and have a gilt design on each, book needs a new spine but boards are good enough to use again and have a nice design, engravings and contents are in very good clean condition,there is cloth strengthening tape down the gutter of 2 leaves ( one bit of tape ) a very nice example of quality printing on nice quality paper, just ready for restoration. heavy book extra postage will be requested.
