Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Uncommon catalogue of Baselitz which contains paintings and poems by the artist as well as photographs of his studio, in a beautiful gold-glittered textured covered board, a lovely production. Excellent overall condition, nearly as new. Binding is solid, sturdy, tight, square. Interior is bright,… clean, free of any marks or damage. Covers excellent - it has been wrapped in newsprint since acquired, in part because the glitter of the cover does tend to rub off here and there. Corners of boards ever so slightly pressed but hardly so, altogether very attractive copy of this unique catalogue.

Set George BASELITZ : Signed Art Card " Pastorale - Der Tag " + XL Art Book BASELITZ *** This exclusive set includes a hand-signed Art Card by George Baselitz, and an Art Book : # 1. Art Card. Hand - signed by George Baselitz in felt pen. This hand-signed art card…features the expressive oil painting Pastorale Der Tag by renowned German artist Georg Baselitz. Known for his radical approach to composition, Baselitz turns visual norms upside down quite literally. This collectible Are Card, signed in felt pen by the artist, offers a striking example of his bold visual language from a pivotal period in his career. *** Professionally framed, floating on linen, in a high-quality, handcrafted wooden frame with PLEXIGLAS Optical HC, scratch-resistant and UV-protected. Framed approx. 43 x 33cm *** This signed work by Georg Baselitz exemplifies his distinctive approach to figurative abstraction, characterized by inverted compositions and expressive brushwork. Baselitz, one of the most significant post-war German artists, redefined contemporary painting by challenging traditional perspectives and pushing the boundaries of artistic representation. AND # 2. Art book - BASELITZ. Hardcover. 2018, 268 Pages, 199 Photos. 28x32 cm. Edited by: Martin Schwander für die Fondation Beyeler, Basel. A grand retrospective of works by an artist who rejuvenated our habits of perception *** Georg Baselitz (b. 1938) is a leading figure in post-war German art and a pioneer of Neo-Expressionism. Celebrated for his emotionally charged, raw, and often confrontational imagery, Baselitz gained international attention in the late 1960s by inverting his subjects forcing viewers to focus on painterly form rather than narrative content. His work explores themes of identity, history, and the human condition, often referencing German cultural memory. *** Baselitz s works are included in major international collections, such as: # Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), New York # Centre Pompidou, Paris # Tate Modern, London # Guggenheim Museum, New York # Neue Nationalgalerie, Berlin *** SHIPPING : Worldwide shipping available ## # CONDITION : artwork and book are in very good condition ***.
