As a history it has stood the test of time extremely well. 415 pages including 14 appendices, bibliography, index, 24 b/w illustrations, mainly photos, 10 maps including fold out sheet at back cover. Blue hard covers with gilt spine titles VG++, small ink gift inscription top right FFEP, text block otherwise excellent.
