Olive green cloth, lightly browned inside covers and adjacent end papers, 222 pages of poetry, color-illustration as frontispiece and some throughout. DJ has light yellow background to front and spine, border of tiny red swastikas and color illustration ship on front, list of Kipling books with row of black swastikas between titles. DJ has small chips, tears and wear to all edges and tips. Poor DJ/Fine book.

Red boards, picture of elephant carring people to front & man in a bush-hat to spine, spine is slightly lighter than boards. Some wear to spine-ends & corners which are starting to fray, page edges a little darkened with some foxing, beige end-papers a litle darkened, ink inscription to flyleaf dated 1942, but book looks c.1920's. Attractive b/w plates. Some light foxing and one or two finger marks to page-margins, but generally clean. Nice condition.

Comic. Condition: Very Good. Very good, nice condition. Cover is well attached, clean and nice. No writing and complete.

Octavo hardcover - lots of annotation in ink to fep (VG); all our specials have minimal description to keep listing them viable. They are at least reading copies, complete and in reasonable condition but usually secondhand; frequently they are superior examples. Ordering more than one book keeps postage costs down.
