The book is in good minus condition, free from rips, tears, bends and writing. There are many black and white plates within the book. The end pages have a few light stains. The boards are in good minus condition with a couple of spots on the back and corner bumps. There are a few worn spots on the Gold lettering on the front board. The binding is tight and square.

This is a finely produced Atlas of the Satellites of Saturn Atlas from the Voyager 1 and 2 Missions. Contains numerous b/w, and color photographic plates of Saturn's moons, feature nomenclature, and Gazeteer of Saturnian Satellites, index of Voyager pictures, history of missions, image processing, mapping, etc. Voyager 1 is a space probe launched by NASA on September 5, 1977. Part of the Voyager program to study the outer Solar System, Voyager 1 launched 16 days after its twin, Voyager 2. Having operated for 38 years, 3 months and 25 days, the spacecraft still communicates with the Deep Space Network to receive routine commands and return data. At a distance of 133 AU (1.99×1010 km) as of autumn 2015, it is the farthest spacecraft from Earth and the only one in interstellar space. Very good. No dust jacket.
