Written by William Henry Davies, a Welsh poet and writer, who spent much of his life as a tramp in the United Kingdom and the United States. Illustrated by Dora Margaret Batty, a British designer, known for her illustration, poster design, pottery and textiles. In the original paper covered boards. Externally, smart with light shelf wear and rubbing to the extremities. Minor sunning to the edges of the boards. Original unclipped dust wrapper is also smart with light shelf wear and minor chipping resulting in light loss to the extremities. Sunning to the spine and the odd mark to the panels. A small closed tear to the head of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd spot. Light age toning to the endpapers.
