Four vintage reference Pathé-Natan photographs of Charles Vanel, Oranes Demazis, and others from the 1934 French film. Three photos with Pathé-Natan stamps on the verso, and all four with annotations in manuscript pencil to same. Based on the classic 1862 novel by Victor Hugo. Considered by many to be the greatest adaptation of the novel. Shot in Biot, Alpes-Maritimes, and in Nice and Paris. One photograph 9.25 x 7 inches, two photographs 6.5 x 9.25 inches, one photograph 6.75 x 4.75 inches. Near Fine to Very Good plus, one with two pinholes and faint discoloration on the center top edge, and one with pinholes at the corners. Criterion Eclipse Series 4. Eureka Masters of Cinema 106.

L'acteur termine en présentant ses .cordiales excuses et amitiés.On joint un portrait photographique (noir et blanc), dédicacé et signé .Au Dr Pierre Merci pour lamitié autant que pour les bons soins Harry Baur.
