Originally introduced in 1909, *On, Wisconsin!* became one of America's best-known college fight songs and was officially designated the Wisconsin state song in 1959. This historically interesting printing includes the additional lyrics written by Dr. Filip A. Forsbeck, winner of a 1927 songwriting competition organized to broaden the song's appeal beyond college football.
