First Edition
Soft cover. Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. Colorado Springs: Tom Belden, 1977. [24]pp; b&w photo-illus. Saddle-stapled in wraps, 6-3/4 x 6-3/4 in. Light splashing to front cover; mild fading along spine. Near fine. Photographic artist's book in which self-portraits of Belden standing with crude paintings of geometric shapes are juxtaposed with those of him forming similar shapes with his fingers; a playful conceptual gesture made all the more appealing by Belden's motorcycle-ready personal style. A scarce work from an artist noted for his decades-long career as a sculptor working in clay; though OCLC finds a listing for this title, it reports no institutional holdings.
