Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Chevallier Taylor (illustrator). 1st Edition, Limited Edition. Folio, 268 pp, beautifully illustrated throughout with photographs by George W Beldam and paintings by Edwardian artist Chevallier Taylor. Blue cloth with gilt titling, decorated endpapers. Limited edition of 548 copies, this being number 134 signed by the editor Cordelia Beldam. A magnificent production on the life and work of pioneer sports photographer George Beldam. The book was compiled by Beldam's son George Jnr and edited after his death by his wife Cordelia. The emphasis is on George Beldam as a cricket photographer of " The Golden Age " but there is much on his work on other sports including golf plus his life as an Edwardian gentlemen of means. A heavy item which will require extra charges to send an overseas order. Signed by Author(s).
