L?ouvrage cherche à jeter quelque lumière tant sur le problème général que sur la genèse d?un poème de Valéry. Maurice Bémol (17 septembre 1900 ? 26 janvier 1961) est un universitaire français. Agrégé d'allemand, en 1929, et professeur à l?université de la Sarre de 1951 jusqu?à son décès, il fut un spécialiste de l??uvre de Paul Valéry.
