The standardised questionnaire included 19 questions re…lated to the clinical examination and management of child phimosis. The answers were analysed 1 month after the date of sending. Results: 168 physicians completed the questionnaire. The selection of doctors in this study appeared to be representative of the Midi-Pyrénées doctor population in comparison with the data of the National Council of the Order. 95.3% of the doctors declared that they were treating children with phimosis. 41.3% of the doctors questioned did not use dermocorticoids in the treatment of preputial adhesions in children. 34.35% of the physicians surveyed were performing preputial adhesion release manoeuvres in their offices. Only 42.3% of the physicians surveyed felt sufficiently informed on the subject of child phimosis. 52 pp. Englisch.

Neuware -Beschrijvende en retrospectieve studie van de methoden voor het beheer van phimosis bij kinderen door huisartsen in de Midi-Pyreneeën. Er werden 300 vragenlijsten per post verspreid. De gestandaardiseerde vragenlijst bevatte 19 vragen m…et betrekking tot het klinisch onderzoek en de behandeling van kinderfimosis. De antwoorden werden 1 maand na de datum van verzending geanalyseerd. Resultaten: 168 artsen hebben de vragenlijst ingevuld. De selectie van artsen in deze studie bleek representatief te zijn voor de artsenpopulatie in Midi-Pyrénées in vergelijking met de gegevens van de Nationale Raad van de Orde. 95,3% van de artsen verklaarde dat ze kinderen met phimosis behandelden. 41,3% van de ondervraagde artsen gebruikte geen dermocorticoïden bij de behandeling van preputiale verklevingen bij kinderen. 34,35% van de ondervraagde artsen voerden in hun kantoor preputtelijke hechtingsontspanningen uit.
