Paperback. Condition: Good. First Edition. 1984 Brentwood Christian Press (Columbus, Georgia), 5 3/8 x 8 1/4 inches tall paperbound in pale orange printed covers, illustrated with black-and-white photographs and facsimiles of family documents, 144, [16] pp. Slight soiling, rubbing and edgewear to covers. Very slight soiling to page edges and a couple of page margins. Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of this rare genealogy. OCLC (No. 49777251) locates only one copy at institutions worldwide - at the Middle Georgia Regional Genealogy Library in Macon. ~GG~ [1.0P] Looks at the ancestry of, and traces the known descendants of, Arthur and Matilda Moore, who lived in the Wiregrass Country in Georgia, like many of their forebears. After exploring the origins of the Moore name, the author goes back to pre-Revolutionary times to explore his line of the Moore family leading up to Arthur and Matilda, and follows the line through the 1980s.
