    Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. The photographer, Matthew Jordan Smith, inscribed and dated this volume on the half-title page. There are 203 pages to this hard cover brick red colored covers with gilt lettering on the spine. The rear board shows an area of discoloration where it appears it had become wet, this has caused bleeding from the boards to the inside of the dust wrapper, and slight rippling to the bottom edges of the last 20 or so pages. There is no damage to either the text or images on those pages. There are multiple images throughout this book with an Introduction by Vanessa Williams and text by Dionne Bennett. This is a stated "First Edition: November 2001" with a full number line 1-10. There is also a flyer laid in of the photographer's appearance, presentation at the Rochester Institute of Technology and at Kodak. Inscribed by Illustrator(s).
