Traducción francesa de la obra publicada en la…tín, en 1664, "Regia Via Crucis" (1664), por este autor nacido en 1588 en Utrecht, que entró en la orden de San Benito y profesó en el monasterio reformado de Afflighen, cambiando su nombre por el de Benedicto. En esta obra, muy apreciada por las hermosas cuarenta láminas xilográficas que enriquecen sus tres tomos, (en realidad son 39 más un frontis), el autor reflexiona sobre el Via Crucis, camino real de la virtud y ejemplo para el comportamiento de la humanidad.
