Oratorien, confesseur de Port-Royal, , chanoine de Saint-Nizier, Benoît Puys meurt à Lyon en 1654. Il est cité plusieurs fois par Pascal, notamment dans la quinzième Provinciale où sont relatés ses démêlés avec les Jésuites. Ex-libris Justin Godart.
