Soft cover. Condition: Very Good+. 1st Edition. This is an epic tale recounted in verse. Printed in b&w with a light coloured paper stapled cover. Has a high school stamp very faintly on the cover and again on the half-title page. The top corner of the front cover has a small bump and there is light general ware and normal aging. Quite clean and tight. None of my books are ex-library, bce or remainders unless specified.

Black cloth with gilt lettering to front and spine. 97pp. Slight dusting/yellowing to page edges. Blue DJ has edgewear, and rubbing, corner and spine rubbing, several closed tears and some chipping. One lengthy closed tear along flap edge and some inside jacket foxing. Pages clean, tight and unmarked. ***Inscribed by Author***.

King was the long-time principal of Scarboro Collegiate Institute (the school was later named after him). Benson spoke at the school in 1930. Gardiner was born in Ontario in 1883 but made his life's mark as a Saskatchewan teacher and politician. In fact, the Gardiner Dam is named for him. This is his 273 page biography.
