This last is definitely part of the happy life " Signed: "Warmest greetings, Adele" Handwritten and signed on a 5" x 3" folded "Thank You" card. Included is the transmittal envelope addressed to: "Mr. John Pitcherale, 1075 Pleasant Street, Belmont, Massachusetts".  Adele Addison Berger (1925- ) is an American soprano and actor. She made her classical debut as a recitalist at New York's Town Hall and opera debut as Mimi in Puccini's La Bohème (1955). She preferred a career as a recitalist singing German Lieder, Negro spirituals, and art songs. John (Giovanni) P. Pitcherale (1919?-1998) was a friend of The Boston Symphony Orchestra.  He is also listed as one of the principal correspondents in The Papers of Eleanor Roosevelt. Condition: Fine condition.
