Pen inscription to front free endpaper. Light cracking to gutters but binding remains firm. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with prominent staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with soft crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean.

Noticeable creasing to gutter. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Soft crushing to spine ends. Visible tanning to spine and edges. Textblock is shaky. Unclipped jacket has moderate edgewear with chips, tears and creasing. Noticeable sunning to spine. Loss to rear panel.

Red-brown cloth, spine ruled and lettered in black. Modest edge wear, short worn area on lower cover edge, ownership signature dated 1932, very good otherwise.
