Notenzitat in vier Takten, im Bassschlüssel. - Cossmann studierte Violoncello bei Theodor August Müller (18021875), Friedrich August Kummer und Karl Drechsler. Von 1847 bis 1849 war er Mitglied des Leipziger Gewandhausorchesters. Mit Franz Liszt ging er 1850 nac…h Weimar. 1866 wurde Cossmann als Hochschullehrer für Violoncello an das Moskauer Konservatorium berufen. Seit 1878 unterrichtete er, wie Clara Schumann, an Dr. Hoch's Konservatorium in Frankfurt. Gewicht (Gramm): 10.
