In it the publisher Christopher Zavisa says, that the limited and signed edition of the book is sold out, and promotes the Portfolio of prints of the book as a " very collectible item, with copies still for sale. The letter is not dated, but the envelope has the post mark Jan.,10, 1984. ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- Cycle of the Werewolf (made into a movie titled "Silver Bullet" in 1985, with the screenplay by King starring Gary Busey) is a short story written by Steven King, in order to be illustrated by Bernie Wrightson. The story of a werewolf attacking the residents of a small Maine town is presented in twelve chapters, each corresponding to a month of the year (and a full moon). Bernie Wrightson illustrated the text, creating three pieces of art for each chapter/month (a color painting depicting the action of the chapter, a large black and white "title" illustration which seeks to capture the feel of the month, and a small illustration, showing the aftermath of the events described, at the end of each chapter).
