This book offers an in-depth look into the evolution and growth of Germany's Kiautschou colony within China's Shandong peninsula during the late 1800s. At the heart of the discussion is the economic and political significance of this venture, particularly its potential for the exploitation of natural resources and as a hub for German industry and trade in the region. The author delves into the initial steps of colonization, the establishment of infrastructure, and the challenges faced by the German administration in developing the colony. The book also examines the broader context of European imperialism in China, highlighting the political and economic motivations of various nations seeking influence in the region. Through detailed accounts and analysis, the book sheds light on the complexities of colonial administration, the challenges of intercultural interaction, and the economic and geopolitical dynamics that shaped the early years of Kiautschou. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.

Zusammen (1+1=) 2 SS. auf 2 Bll. Qu.-8vo und qu.-32mo. An Adolf Leichtle in Lenzfried bei Kempten i. IV. 2009).
