Erste Aufl. 30 fadengeheftete, goldgeprägte, braune Maroquin-Halbleder-Handeinbände mit verstärkten Ecken, goldgeprägter Rückenbeschriftung, marmoriertem Deckelpapier, marmorierten Vor- und Nachsatzpapieren, dreiseitigem Sprengschnitt und Lesebändchen. Der neunte Band wurde zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt neu in kaschierte Leinwand als Halbleinenband eingebunden, dieser Band auch mit Stempelung aller Buchschnitte. Im Anhang jeweils einige, teils großformatige Falttafeln. Die Einbände in unterschiedlicher Ausprägung berieben, Kopfschnitte alle altersgemäß mit deutlicher Nachdunkelung, nahezu alle Bände mit Bibliotheksstempel auf Vortitel- und Titelblättern, das Papier teilweise nachgedunkelt, nur sehr vereinzelt braunfleckiges Papier, einige Seiten mit Knick oder kleinem Einriss oder Fleck, zahlreiche Transparentschutzpapiere der Falttafeln mit Knicken, vereinzelt dezent klaffende Bindungsstellen, Band 5 mit kleinem Loch im Lederrücken, der Rücken des 28. Bandes mit zwei kleinen Farbflecken, jener des Registerbandes mit deutlicheren Bereibungen, insgesamt befinden sich die Bücher der vierten Serie des von Lavoisier gegründeten und bis 1815 unter dem Titel "Annales de Chimie" erschienenen bekannten französichen Fachorgans der Chemie in altersgemäß gutem, teilweise sehr gutem Erhaltungszustand. In dieser Vollständigkeit äusserst selten. Die Annales de Chimie et de Physique ist eine naturwissenschaftliche Zeitschrift, die in Paris im Jahre 1789 unter ihrem ursprünlichen dem Titel Annales de Chimie gegründet wurde.
