Hardcover. Condition: Near fine condition. First Edition. 134 pages of text. Full brown morocco (leather) binding, with raised bands; minimal shelfwear. Leather panelled endsheets. Bound by Stikeman & Co. Printed on hand-made Imperial Japan Paper. Limited edition; 250 copies printed. Illustrated by 14 black & white photogravures. Includes an image of a memorial fountain in the Entrance Hall of the Harvard Union. The drinking fountain, erected in memorial to Bettens, was designed by Francke Huntington Bosworth, and sculpted by Masaniello Piccirilli. Size: Octavo (8vo). Book.
