This medical bibliography, compiled by the foremost bibliographer of the 17th century, contains works published from 1651 to 1681. It includes about 2000 writers (4000 titles according to Besterman), arranged alphabetically by the last name of the author, separately listing publications in Latin, French, Spanish, Italian, English, German, and Dutch. The bibliography 'is probably as complete and as accurate as was possible at that time.
