Heading on text page tops reads sometimes "Der Auszerlesnen Chronicl" and sometimes "Der Auserlesenen Chronicl". 4to. Very fancy capital letters. Paginated (38) , i-dcccvii (1-807) but lacks leaf 800/801 and appears to lack one or more final pages. 29.5 x 19 cm. Binding very secure (except for final 3 leaves which are detached, worn and wrinkled) however front wood board and spine are completely gone. Rear board still attached but very worn and lacks original vellum covering. Remnants of leather ties remain . Text is not very worn, just occasional light soiling/spotting; just 3 or 4 very old tiny ink margin notes. Rare. Pictures available on request.
