Condition: Very Good -. Mát-xco-va [Moscow]: Tre Nho, 1984. First Vietnamese Language Edition. Quarto; publisher's white pictorial card wrappers; eight leaves of color pop-ups. Covers rather worn with small loss at spine foot and minor chipping along margins, old tape and glue remnants to rear cover, gift inscription to front cover and first leaf, else a Good or better copy, pop up elements remaining in mostly fine condition. Rather unlikely pop-up book about European explorers published in Moscow for a Vietnamese-speaking readership. Figures featured include Christopher Columbus (Cri-xtop Cô-lông); Ferdinand Magellan (Phéc-nang Ma-gien-lang); James Cook (Giêm Cúc); and many others. Recorded in OCLC as of May, 2022, though lacking any physical holdings.
