This publication is produced on the occasion of the Lucio Fontana exhibition at the Galleria Flaviana, Locarno, inaugurated on 27 July 1966 - The cuts and the arrangement of the holes are original indications by the artist: Lucio Fontana (1899-1968) Argentine-Italian painter, sculptor, and theorist. He is known as the founder of Spatialism and exponent of abstract painting as the first known artist to slash his canvases which symbolizes an utter rejection of all prerequisites of art. Text by Gillo Dorfles in Italian. Published in 1000 numbered copies. Original boards. In Very good condition.
