Condition: Very Good. A few creases well clear of the printed surface; in excellent condition. Peake 465. Number 7 of 24 copies printed by hand from the original woodblock on untrimmed fine Japanese paper, signed and editioned in pencil by the artist in the bottom margin. A fine copy of the standard version (a photomechanical reproduction with a dry adhesive verso) is also present. Offered together with a bookplate by Mark Ferson for 'Bidgood's Kids' Books': a large original linocut, signed and editioned (8/20) in pencil in the bottom margin; in fine condition. See Peake 462. Provenance: H.B. (Harry) Muir (1909-1992), bookseller, publisher and bookplate collector; by descent. [3 items]. Signed.
