Bieke neemt vaak ook de styling voor haar rekening wanneer ze fotografeert, en dat talent ontplooit ze door af en toe huizen in te richten. Voor dit boek selecteerde ze de beste beelden uit haar portfolio, van huizen en interieurs waar ze zelf van houdt. Sommige daarvan heeft ze zelf ingericht, en allemaal zijn het interieurs die de persoonlijkheid van de bewoners uitstralen. Niet afgelikt en overstyled, maar vol leven, met een ziel. De foto's zijn bijeengebracht in thema's om zo als bron van inspiratie te kunnen dienen voor wie zelf aan de slag wilt om zijn huis in te richten. In dit boek zie je bijvoorbeeld hoe je harmonie in een woning kunt brengen door ronde met hoekige vormen af te wisselen, of hoe je met kleine ingrepen knusse en geborgen hoekjes kunt creëren. Bieke Claessens werkt al meer dan twintig jaar als zelfstandig interieurfotografe en -styliste.
