Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. San Jose: Sal Press, 1983; stated first edition of this scarce cookbook from American zoo/park professional Sharon Bienert, who spent several years in Costa Rica as an ecological researcher and national park director; 62pp. Illustrated throughout by Lyle Prescott. No dust jacket, seemingly as issued. Seemingly rebound, likely by previous owner Melvin McCosh, bookseller and cookbook collector, but without other examples to go off of, it's hard to say. Binding is tight, sturdy, and square; red cloth boards very good; titling remains bright and bold. Interior is free of markings. Ships same or next day from Dinkytown, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
