Condition: Good. No Edition Remarks. 134 pages. No dust jacket. Grey cloth boards with lettering. Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning. Lettering is clear.

First edition, hardcover, spine lean, light foxing to boards, foxing within especially to endpapers, light soiling to page edges, tiny chip to top corner of page 5, couple of dog-eared pages, otherwise solid, a Good+ copy in like dustjacket which has a half inch chip to the top of the spine, some foxing to the rear panel and a few short, closed tears.

Some light marking and sunning. Unclipped jacket has light edgewear with tears and creasing. Heavy tanning to spine. Mild rubbing and marking all over.

Book in near fine condition, with no inscriptions. Jacket with chip at bottom of spine. Not a book club edition, ex library or a remainder. I am happy to supply scans.

Cloth. Condition: Good. H M Bateman (illustrator). Undated, believed to be 1937. Textblock firm with slight spotting and some dustiness to the edges, signature on fep, binding firm, cover sound with some browning particularly to the spine. Pics available Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
