Alcune leggerissime macchie di foxing dovute alla qualità della carta in alcune pagine (come in tutti gli esemplari). Bell'edizione ancora in barbe di questa raccolta di poesie del grande poeta estemporaneo senese Antonio Bindocci che fu il fondatore del noto giornale satirico "Il Tagliacode". I versi prendono ispirazione da fatti contemporanei e dai grandi peronaggi della letteratura e dell'attualità quali Napoleone, Dante, Monti, Milton, Bayron, Virgilio e Tasso. Contiene anche la difesa di Bindocci davanti al tribunale di Bastia che lo accussò di fomentare i dissidenti corsi. Fra i componimenti anche quello celebre dedicato ai cani del San Bernardo. Buono stato di conservazione.

Rara edizione in bell'esemplare, completo anche dell'incisione posta in antiporta col ritratto dell'Autore eseguito da Spilmann Lit.fo dal vero e incisa dalla Lit. Doyen e C. di Torino. Legatura coeva in mezza pelle, titoli e fregi in oro al dorso, piatti marmorizzati, pp. 1 tav. 253, 3, in 8°.
