Les discussions du Groupe, ardentes et approfondies, furent alors publiées dans les premiers tomes de l'Evolution Psychiatrique (alors chez Payot) - Plus tard la revue fut publiée par Maloine, Chahine puis d'Artray. Le Groupe s'augmenta rapidement et admit en son sein des psychanalystes de grande renommée (Morgenstern - Rudolph Loewenstein qui fut le psychanalyste de Lacan - Sacha Nacht - Pierre Male - Charles Odier - Julien Rouart - Raymond de Saussure - Daniel Lagache - Favez-Boutonnier - Serge Lebovici - René Diatkine - Jacques Lacan - P.C. Racamier Charles Brisset .) et des psychiatres connus par leurs travaux de psychiatrie clinique, de psychopathologie, ou leurs affinités avec la psychologie des profondeurs ou la phénoménologie (Ceillier - Georges Daumezon - Deshaies - Dublineau - Duchêne - Henri Ey - Sven Follin - Fouquet - Laboucarié - Lanteri-Laura - Mignot - Montassut - Pichot - Tosquelles .) qui vinrent en grand nombre participer aux travaux de la Société et publièrent d'importants articles dans sa revue. Certains de tendance plus nettement sociopsychologique ou sociopsychiatrique (Le Guillant - Sivadon - Veil .), ou d'autres orientés sur les problèmes de neuropathologie ou de pathologie générale dans leurs rapports avec la pathologie mentale (Ajuriaguerra - Angelergues - Baruk - Blanc - Dongier - Guiraud - Hécaen - Koupernik - Nayrac - Tusques .).
