Engraved bookplate to verso of front free endpaper (Hicks). Cracking to front joint but solidly bound. Rubbing to spine, wear to corners of boards. A little light foxing, text is otherwise in very clean condition throughout. Old paper repair to corner of final page. A very nice example. ESTC T82687. . Overall condition is Very Good. While Lowndes lists other works by Bull, it does not include this work. See Perennes col 762. Binding rubbed and rear cover partly stained. Headband chipped. Lacking the paste downs and a few stains to the preliminary leaves. Some scattered foxing. Contemporary signature of Edward Chapman on inside front blank and later signature on the first text leaf. Rather scarce.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. 8vo in original dark brown blind-stamped cloth, gilt spine title. Just a Good copy, but the map is very nice. Corners heavily bumped and nearly rubbed through, 1/2' of the cloth chipped from the top of the spine, cloth split along the rear gutter with small pieces chipped away. The binding is tight and square, the text block only very mildly toned. The fold-out map has no tears or separations at the folds, and the colors are bright and fresh.

Bound in probably later 19th century cloth with decorative blind stamping suggesting something mid 19th century. Large fold-out map with hand coloring has a short closed tear along one of the folds at the front edge. Contents snugly bound and neat. Cloth binding is rough with spine perishing and missinf the middle 1/3 of the cloth, frayed and torn in the balance. Corners heavily bumped and bruised. Contents complete; a little bump/push to the fore edge of a small number of pages mid-text. Rebacking suggested. Thus fair to good only.
