Second edition reprinted with minor corrections. Hardcover. cviii. 211pp. Poems in German. 100pp introduction and 6pp notes in English. Small school stamps to endpapers and one page of text (p3). V.g. in price-clipped dustwrapper with a few nicks along top edge resulting in minor loss head of spine.

Hardcover. Condition: Fair. Selected and Translated by Jethro Bithell. Red boards with gilt lettering on the spine and large insignia upon front cover. Covers are well thumbed and rubbed, with some small swathes of discolouration upon spine and edges. Head and tail of spine bumped, corners smooth and bear some wear. Free endpapers, pastedowns, title pages and most pages throughout bear moderate discolouration and light foxing. Previous owner's inscription upon pastedown, dated 1916. Head edge gilt and well thumbed particularly at the fore edge. Binding is tidy. This book is in fair condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously; they usually present better than they sound.
